In the Three Oak Trees

I went home on Monday with Alexis and Ashton with three goals.
  1. Jesse : I want to unload a carfull of junk on my parents.
  2. Ashton : I want to see Louis Kahn's Exeter Library.
  3. Alexis : I want a lobster roll.
Not only were all our goals met, but we also got a chance to take photos of the almost completed teahouse! The picture above is from the swampside corner; note the nice new railings.

Pictures of the treehouse (as well as of my architecture model) will be available whenever I have a free moment. Right now, I should be studying for my architecture final, and this weekend I should be packing up my room. (Oh, and then I have to graduate and move my things to New Haven. And maybe I can find an apartment in Cambridge while I'm at it...) But I promise that eventually there will be pretty pictures of carpentry big and small.

Also, for those of you who follow every update of my oh-so-exciting website, I want to inform you that jthaler.net will be down until I find a computer with a static IP address. On May 27th, you will get “server cannot be found” errors. So much for my I'm-Feeling-Lucky rank on google...
