An entire summer without jthaler.net! (What did you do with yourself?)
After a three month vacation, Woland has returned to his boring job as a webserver. This site is now broadcasting from beautiful Cambridge, MA (my fair city). Woland misses his dial-up connection in New Haven, but he'll get over it.
The summer was a welcome break from academia and physics. I spent my waking hours doing scut work in a chemistry lab, pretending to cook, and watching oodles of DVDs with Sasha. I also took (count 'em) two vactions: a week long excursion to Monhegan Island and a roadtrip to Naples, Florida. And I can't forget the Ben & Jerry's Festival, or Branford Marsalis, or Smalls, or the most violent movie ever.

As I settle into my new home and begin my life as a grad student, the message therapy may be slow coming. If you are in the Boston area, please visit the new apartment. We have a futon with your name on it.
